How is a Jew Released from the Curse of the Law?

A Jew who is truly seeking God will naturally ask, "What does a Jew do to be freed from the curse of the Law?" Jeremiah gives the answer. Even though the types of sin committed by Israel--and all mankind--may vary from century to century, God's principles toward sin and repentance remain unchanged.

"...Return faithless Israel," declares the Lord; "I will not look upon you in anger. For I am gracious," declares the Lord; "I will not be angry forever.

Only acknowledge your iniquity...

And I will bring you to Zion" (Jer. 3:12-14).

Even Daniel, a righteous prophet, acknowledged his sin, and then prayed for forgiveness:

O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, listen and take action! For Thine own sake, O my God, do not delay, because Thy city and Thy people are called by Thy name (Dan. 9:19).
